Come on a trip with one of our hosts to experience the opportunity to be involved in many community events that bless people's lives, build homes that provide a better life for people, see some sites and learn how people live in Peru.
Jerry and Christine, the founders of Peru Hope, have dedicated their lives to building both businesses and communities. Jerry learned Spanish at age 20 while serving a mission in Ecuador, and years later, during a senior mission together, he and Christine witnessed the deep needs in a rural part of Peru. Moved by what they saw, they felt inspired to create real, lasting change—and Peru Hope was born.
Entrepreneurs at heart, Jerry and Christine began their journey as dairy farmers and have since founded and operated numerous successful businesses, many of which they still own and operate. Above all their accomplishments, they consider their greatest success to be their family: five wonderful children and twenty-two grandchildren who bring them endless joy.
Through Peru Hope, Jerry and Christine are combining their passion for service with decades of experience to bring opportunity, stability, and hope to Peruvian communities—one home, and one life, at a time.
Eddy Martinez was born and raised in Chile, where he developed a strong sense of service and community. At 18, he spent two years in Ecuador on a religious mission, an experience that shaped much of his perspective. He moved to the United States at 21 and now lives with his wife and two children. Eddy is the Chief Marketing Officer at AIMVO Pest Control, a fast growing company that proudly supports Peru Hope. Eddy contributes his marketing expertise to the project and serves as a host during two service trips each year.
We’re looking for caring, motivated individuals to become hosts for Peru Hope. As a host, you'll help lead life-changing trips that bring hope and support to communities across Peru. From building homes to participating in cultural events, you’ll guide others in making a real difference—while experiencing the beauty and resilience of the Peruvian people. If you’re ready to lead with heart, we’d love to connect.
