Remodel Project
More room
Jerry & Chris Gregersen (founder of the Gregersen Foundation) currently oversee the building remodel project for "The Village" as the contractor. The Gregersen Foundation has also donated all the framing, including materials and labor.
This is a transition from a 1,700 sqft building to a 12,000 sqft location.
All of the organizations involved run 100% by donations and volunteers.
Current Location
With hardly any room to walk around, an upgrade was indeed needed. This due to the many donations from the local members of the community.
What They Do
The Village is a foster care center that collects and distributes donated items to children in foster care. They accept new/gently used clothing, sensory items, blankets, personal hygiene items, shoes, toys, books, suitcases, school supplies, diapers, etc.
They are able to provide these supplies to foster youth on their first day of being removed from their home, and they are able to come back as needed.
